FAQs

Pricing questions,
answered.

How much does RobinReturn cost?

RobinReturn is pay-per-action, with no subscription. A polite reminder is £2, a Letter Before Action is £9.50, and preparing a County Court claim is a flat £35. You pay only for the stage you reach. HMCTS court fees are separate and paid to the court.

Is there a monthly subscription or contract?

No. RobinReturn charges per action — there is no monthly fee, minimum term or contract. If a £2 reminder gets you paid, that is all you spend.

Do you take a commission on what I recover?

No. RobinReturn takes no percentage of the debt, the interest or the statutory compensation. The fixed fee for each action is the whole charge, and what the debtor pays you is yours to keep.

How much are the court fees?

The HMCTS fee to issue a claim scales with the amount claimed — from £35 for the smallest claims to £455 near the £10,000 small-claims limit. It is paid to the court, not to RobinReturn, and you can usually recover it from the debtor if you win.

Is VAT included in the price?

RobinReturn's fees are shown exclusive of VAT. HMCTS court fees are exempt from VAT. Your Stripe receipt sets out the VAT treatment for your company.

Do I get RobinReturn's fees back from the debtor?

The statutory compensation a Letter Before Action claims — £40, £70 or £100 by invoice size — is recoverable from the debtor in full, and the court issue fee is normally recovered if you win. RobinReturn's own preparation fees are your cost of using the service, not a charge added to the judgment.
